Blackbird Theater presents the first public reading of Myth, an original musical by Blackbird cofounders Wes Driver and Greg Greene and composer Michael Slayton, on Saturday, November 12, at Shamblin Theater. Myth tells the sweeping story of how and why the gods were cast from Mt. Olympus. It’s an epic tale of corrupt kings, surprising romances, unlikely heroes, and, of course, the incomparable gods in all of their majestic, decadent glory.

Blackbird Theater will stage PACIFIC OVERTURES by Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman, February 2-18, 2012 at Lipscomb University’s Shamblin Theater.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, October 1 from 11:00am to 6:00pm.
